Why would you use a coach?
You really do have all the answers you need because you’re the expert in you. So, why hire me?
To get a different perspective. That can open things up in ways you can’t imagine from where you are now.
When you talk and I ask questions, together we can uncover connections that are currently in your blind spots; connections that will help you build the future you want.

What sorts of things do people bring to coaching?
Whatever is bugging you, really. Some people come just to talk things through so they can make a decision they’re finding difficult. Others want a major life overhaul. And anything in between.
As well as general life coaching, I have two specialties: emotional eating coaching and communication coaching. They are two areas where I’ve seen people get really tangled up, and there are some pretty straightforward approaches to help them.
How do I know I’m ready for coaching?
That’s an important question.
Have you started questioning an aspect of your life, wanting it to be better but you don’t know how to make it better? Are you prepared to change something, including your own approach?
Those are signs that you’re ready for coaching.
What about AI coaching?
AI coaching can be really good for straightforward things, like tracking behaviours, giving you reminders, and finding you HEAPS of information – sometimes overwhelming amounts.
Here are some techniques I use that AI hasn’t caught up with:
- Noticing your emotions and asking you about them. There might be a slight quiver in your voice, a hesitation before you say something, or a huge belly laugh.
- Giving you space to really think and feel.
- Watching for changes in your body language that might indicate enthusiasm or reticence.
- Combining intuition and logic to come up with innovative approaches and insights.
- Co-creating solutions with you.
