My Story
Am I the right coach for you?
What can I tell you that would help you decide if I’m the right coach for you?
I believe in the power of coaching to make a difference because I’ve seen it make a difference in all sorts of circumstances, including my own.
I love listening to your perspective on your issues, asking questions and seeing what we can make together to help you simplify your life. When necessary, I’ll challenge your thinking, but with compassion.
I want you to succeed.

I had a winding career path before that was cool
My unique blend of veterinary science, banking, air traffic control, government auditing, and teaching public speaking – with a little comedy, beekeeping and storytelling thrown in – means I often have a different take on situations.
I bring in ideas from all sorts of places, including high performance sports and coaching with animals.
This all means I often come up with innovative things for you to think about or try. I hold my logical and my intuitive sides equally lightly and bring them both to coaching sessions.
My Qualifications

I’m a Master Coach, trained through the Martha Beck Institute
I’m a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
I trained in emotional and binge eating coaching through Eating Freely in Ireland
I want you to succeed
My aim with each client is to work myself out of a job. Once your issue is where you want it, you carry on with your life. You’re welcome back any time with another issue or another version of your issue.
I coach because I love it
I haven’t had any near-death experiences or sudden realisations that brought me to coaching. Of course, I’ve had significant challenges – like most other people – but I coach because I love watching how the process works on people and problems.
For some of you, I’ll be in your future and on the other side of a sizable stretch of water. I’m a New Zealander and I love the perspective coming from the far end of the earth brings. I’ve travelled a lot. I appreciate my culture and many others.
I go at things like a bull at a gate sometimes. Sometimes it takes me a loooong time to change. Just like lots of other humans.
